CrowCrowd signs NLaaeR
Overwatch CIS Star Ilya "NLaaeR" Koppalov joins the CrowCrowd Apex Legends team.

His pro career began with the Prets team, in two years Ilya went through Contenders and reached the Overwatch League — the largest offline league of Overwatch. The year 2019 was a career rise, with Atlanta Reign, when they finished 5th in the season.

However, at the end of 2019, NLaaeR decided to leave Overwatch. In a big interview with the Rillion YouTube channel, Ilya talked about how disappointed he was in the Overwatch esports scene: the player was puzzled by the communication with the developers, the frivolous attitude of some colleagues to their job, and the quality of the coach's work - and shared his desire to try something new. Something more driving and interesting.

Now he's diving into Apex Legends: the Battle Royale game with grandiose plans for 2020. Despite a short time, change of discipline was almost imperceptible to his results, and he has already shown an incredible level of play.

We are pleased to welcome a player of this level in our Crowd. We also hope that we can help Ilya quickly develop on a new scene. The first tournament of the 2020 season will begin in late January.
